Hidden Treasures Ministry - Assisted Living Ministry

Our Hidden Treasures Ministry to senior citizens in local assisted living centers is one of the most tender and powerful expressions of Christlike love. Many residents carry decades of wisdom, stories, and faith, yet they often face loneliness, limited mobility, or the feeling of being forgotten. Our dedicated ministry steps into that space with joy, music, compassion, presence, and hope.

Come and join S.A.L.T - Single Adults Living Truth at Eternal Friends in Christ Church.

Within this group you will find friendship, encouragement, spiritual growth, and opportunities to enjoy fun events, outings, restaurants, and life with people who understand the single Christian life.

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD

Each year we pack 100 shoeboxes  at Eternal Friends for Operation Christmas Child.  OCC is a ministry through Samaritan's Purse, a Christian relief and evangelism organization led by Franklin Graham, that sends hundreds of thousands of boxes around the world to children in need at Christmas.

PRAYER SHAWL MINISTRY

Prayer Shawl Ministry meets the 2nd Tuesday morning each month to knit, crochet, embroidery & pray.  What we create is prayer shawls for folks that God brings to our minds that might need to know that they are being prayed for.  Pictured is a prayer shawl that was made through many years.  Mary Ann's mother, Alreva Crain started it as an afghan and Mary Ann found it in her things.  She passed it to the prayer shawl group and Jeanne completed it as a prayer shawl.  Now God will decide who needs to receive it.
Many hands work for God!!

 S-V LIFELINE FOOD DISTRIBUTION

On the third Tuesday of each month the S-V Lifeline distributes food to anyone living in the Sesser-Valier school district.  In July, approximately 52 families were served by the S-V Lifeline Food Distribution.  Eternal Friends in Christ is asked to provide bar soap each month for the food distribution.  Many from our fellowship help each month at city hall where the food distribution is held.
