Eternal Friends in Christ packed their

shoeboxes for Samaritan’s Purse

Operation Christmas Child. Every year

we try to increase the number of

shoeboxes we send from the prior year.

Again in 2015 we succeeded and are

sending 125 shoeboxes to children

around the world.

THE PLAN OF SALVATION

Evangelism Month

Dear God,

I need forgiveness.

I recognize that I am a sinner and I am willing to turn away from my sins and follow Jesus.

I believe that Jesus is the Son of God, that He died for my sins, shedding His precious blood for me, that He rose from the dead and now sits on the right hand of the Father.

I invite Jesus Christ into my life and my heart as my personal Savior and I am not ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ, proudly proclaiming it to all men.

God, thank you for the gift of school staff and these students both young & old.

Please watch over them as they go back to school, and protect them from negative influences.

Help them all be a light to others, and help them show love, care, and respect to their friends, students, and teachers.

Please protect them from bullies, but if they face one, give them courage to stand up for themselves and for others.

Help them to remember when they are scared or afraid, You are there with them.  As much as we love these students & staff, You love them even more, and we know You will be watching out for them.

We ask that you bless parents, husbands, wives, and all those who play a role in these student’s lives and that includes all of us here at Eternal Friends in Christ.  Help us remember to demonstrate encouragement, patience, support, understanding and love for them.

Bless all of those who are beginning or returning to their roles as teachers, as well as those who lead on the Board of Education, and support them in their efforts as aides, bus drivers, cooks, custodians, & other personnel.  May this school year be a time of grace and potential as they teach, share, and challenge others to grow in faith, knowledge, and wisdom.

Bless students as they begin a new school year.  May their minds be open to learning and to the wonder of discovery and insight.

Be with us all as we embark on this new year.

In June, she and a group of other nurses

 traveled to Malawi Africa
